The outdated box filter was fully removed and replaced with a premium drum and bio combi system — a state-of-the-art, all-in-one unit that combines highly efficient mechanical filtration (via an automatic self-cleaning rotary drum) with robust biological filtration for superior ammonia and nitrite control.

All new pipework has been professionally sunk underground, creating a clean, hazard-free layout with added protection against weather and wear. The filter unit itself is securely housed in a dedicated filter bay built on a solid concrete base, ensuring long-term stability, vibration isolation, and straightforward access for maintenance.

This modern upgrade delivers significantly clearer water, reduced manual cleaning, automatic backwashing, and reliable biological processing — ideal for maintaining a healthy pond environment with minimal daily effort. Once the biological media fully matures (typically 4–6 weeks with proper seeding and monitoring), the system provides outstanding results with excellent turnover rates.
